Personal Profile

Una Chrystal

Right Track logoAfter studying law at university, I commenced working life in human resource management.  My first post was within a large department store in Glasgow.  Part of my remit was to recruit and mentor YTS trainees within the store.  The trainees were on placement from a training organisation called Work Wise, a Glasgow training provider.

In 1990 I joined Work Wise as Deputy Manager, then Centre Manager.  In 1996 I was promoted to the Senior Management Team as Operations Manager.  The following year Work Wise changed its name to Right Track.

I was appointed to the role of Chief Executive in July 2005 following the tragic death of Graeme Dawson.

Over the years I have participated in Right Track’s growth from one centre in the East End of Glasgow to eight locations across Central Belt of Scotland, delivering alternative to school provision to 240 young people aged 13 plus, and supporting a further 500 young people aged 16 plus on the LEC funded “Get Ready for Work Programme”.  Right Track also delivers a range of customised programmes to long term unemployed adults across Glasgow and Lanarkshire.

Chief Executiive, Right Track
