DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, SCOTLAND, MENTOR UK

Mentor UK, the leading UK charity working to prevent drug related harm to children and young people, is seeking a Development Manager to lead on the development and implementation of strategies, activities and projects to achieve drug and alcohol misuse prevention outcomes in Scotland. This will include a strong focus on evaluation and project management.

The post will be located alongside Circle in Pilton, Edinburgh.

SALARY: £29,000 p.a. plus 6% pension contribution.

SEXUAL HEALTH NURSE BAND 6

The Corner, 18 Dock Street, Dundee

Salary Scale:  £24,103 -  £32,653 per annum

We are looking for a Sexual Health Nurse to provide and develop a range of holistic health and information services to young people aged 11 – 25 in order to assist and encourage them to make informal choices about their own lives and to minimise risk-taking behaviour. You will be required to contribute to all aspects of the The Corner’s services including its city centre Drop-in which is open 6 days a week. A first level registered nurse, you should have specialised knowledge gained from post registration qualification eg. Family Planning Certificate or equivalent and experience in the area of sexual health including contraception and sexually transmitted infections, especially as it applies to young people. You should also have experience of working with young people aged 11-18 years focusing on minimising risk-taking behaviour. Hours of work are:  37.5
