Children in Scotland has developed a new website containing accessible, comprehensive and up-to-date policy information relating to children and young people in Scotland. The website was developed as part of the 4 Nations Child Policy Network.

Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations

The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations is the national body representing the voluntary sector. SCVO seeks to advance the values and shared interests of the voluntary sector by fostering co-operation, promoting best practice and delivering sustainable services.

Young People’s voices

In this section you will find links to websites which represent and express the opinions of young people in Scotland.

Scottish Youth Parliament

The Scottish Youth Parliament (SYP) meets at least three times a year, discusses issues which affect young people across Scotland and tries to propose innovative and sometimes radical solutions to these problems and situations. The SYP think that young people in Scotland have the right to have their views listened to and acted upon.

The Children’s Parliament

The Children’s Parliament aims to provide sustainable and meaningful opportunities for children of 14 and under to engage in local, national and international democratic processes.

Dialogue Youth
