Dare to Care: Make Time to End Child Poverty’ campaign.

CSV’s new campaign ‘Dare to Care’ aims to raise awareness of what it is like to grow up in poverty. The campaign is asking volunteers to donate their time and expertise to help improve the life experience and chances of children living in poverty. Volunteers will receive an action pack and also be eligible to apply for a small grant of £50 to help with set up costs.

Asylum Seekers

The Scottish Government has introduced new regulations in the Scottish Parliament to take effect in January 2008, designed to give young asylum seekers access to financial support for post-school education provided they have lived in Scotland for at least three years.

The Youth Music Initiative

Clore Duffield Performing Arts Awards

Organisations such as registered charities, youth groups, limited companies and schools that wish to undertake activities that enable young people aged 0-18 to experience the performing arts are eligible to apply for funding. Eligible organisations can apply for funding that cover every aspect of the performing arts including opera, dance, musical theatre, the spoken word and theatre.
