Organisations from across the UK can apply for this fund, which supports projects and activities that encourage the integration of 11-18 year old refugees and asylum seekers within host communities. Funding is also available for capacity-building within the organisations that represent these young people, and to enable organisations to develop best practice.

Partnership Grants Scheme

The Electoral Commission is offering grants of up to £100,000 for not for profit organisations to implement projects that involve more people in democratic process. In particular, the Electoral Commission wants to support projects that target young people not in formal education, people from ethnic minority communities and people with disabilities.

This is Comic Relief’s largest grant making programme and focuses on community based projects that work with young people, older people, people with mental health problems, refugee and asylum seekers as well as tackling domestic violence and deprivation.

Clore Duffield Performing Arts Awards

Funding is available for activities that enable young people aged 18 or under to experience the performing arts. Grants of £1,000-£10,000 are available for educational projects that can cover any aspect of the performing arts. The next closing date for applications is the 12 September 2007.
