NEW - Breaking-down Stereotypes and Engaging Fathers in Services for Children and Families
2 Feb, Glasgow. This one day event from Children in Scotland will share practice and explore practical solutions to achieving gender equality in services for children and families. It will look at approaches used across a wide range of services including early years, education, health and parent support.

NEW - Finding better ways: Education pathways for young people who have experienced trauma, abuse or neglect
17 Feb, Renfrew. This conference is organised by Kibble Education and Care Centre.
Keynote speakers include Brian Boyd, Emeritus Professor of Education, University of Strathclyde; Helen Minnis, Senior Lecturer in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, University of Glasgow; and Michael Kerman and Sarah Savage, Kids Company, London.

NEW - Physical Activity and Health Alliance National Conference
25th Feb, Edinburgh. This free conference will help participants gain a better understanding of recent UK Physical Activity Guidelines and learn about examples of practice when working with early years, children, adults and older adults.

NEW - Issues in Safeguarding Refugee Children
15 April, Preston, Lancashire. This event from BAPSCAN (British Association for the Study and Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect) will bring together people working on the issues around child protection and refugee children in research, policy and practice. Keynote speakers will raise the issues of well being and resettlement of refugee children in an asylum country; the causes of migration; the public policy controls in place; and social justice for refugee children.
