We believe that every child has the right to grow up within a secure, nurturing and protective environment which is best provided within the structures of family and community.
Through direct work with children, training, research and information dissemination Harmeny provides a service throughout Scotland.

Helm Training is a registered charity and company that works to provide life skills and employment training for young people aged 15 -18. We work with young people in their last 6 months of statutory education who have been excluded or have excluded themselves. We develop their skills, SQA/ASDAN accredited, so they can move on to employment training - Get Ready for Work or a move into further education. We currently operate in Dundee City and Angus and are looking to develop our service further in North East Scotland.

More about Helm Training Projects
The Holywood Trust assists young people (15-25 year olds) resident in Dumfries and Galloway, in South West Scotland, particularly those experiencing mental, physical and social disadvantage.
It does this through grant awards to young people particularly where the Trust's support will contribute to their personal development in some tangible way. The Trust also actively seeks opportunities to support others working directly with or for young people.
The Holywood Trust may be able to help you if you are:
- aged 15 to 25
- resident in Dumfries and Galloway
- in need of some financial support to move your life forward.
Examples of the support provided are:
- assistance to purchase household items for a young person leaving care
- help with College and University expenses
- assistance to participate in sporting and musical activities at both Regional and National level.
This list is by no means exhaustive; in general terms if you can show that you are in need you may receive help from the Trust.
