Rathbone training has been actively involved in pupil inclusion for several years. As a National training organisation, with charitable status, we are committed to the social inclusion of all young people.
We currently run two programmes in Scotland (Glasgow, and Ayrshire) that provide support to pupils at risk of exclusion, and or already excluded from mainstream schooling. The Glasgow model, works in partnership with four schools, on early intervention support and training within the schools.
In Kilmarnock we provide support and training to young people who are excluded from mainstream schooling. We offer alternative learning methods, career planning, and progression routes to lifelong learning.
Rathbone understand the importance of early intervention work, and are continually working to develop these programmes in line with the Scottish Government objectives.
