Unity Enterprise was established in 1989 as an inter-church initiative offering training and personal development to young unemployed people. We have expanded considerably since our foundation.
Our clients include the following groups:
- 14-16 year olds with school attendance problems or who have been excluded from school
- 16-18 year olds who wish to attain formal vocational qualifications physically disabled people
- offenders serving a custodial sentence and those who have been released from prison
- people who are long-term unemployed
- people with learning difficulties
- people with mental health issues
Aware that many young people are falling out of the school system, we have created an education programme that provides an alternative to non-attendance and exclusion from school.
